Mick Rock Ausstellung in derÂ

Yes, I also have creative artist blood running through my veins - I’m quite the wizard with scissors, glue & magazine cut-outs.

Yes, it’s yours truly & i have a way better trick than
Sido to keep people from recognizing me…I schlepp a balloon around in front of my face to make sure
no picture of me is actually ever taken. Of course I have balloons for different occasions, in this picture please be introduced to my alluring
art opening balloon:
sinister, mysterious & intellectual at the same time!

Hey, who is that quirky looking
little man with the camera? Would one actually recognize him as one of Germanys most
prominent photographers or as somebody who escaped a carnival? Well, here he is pretendng to snap a picture of me, while I actually snapped a picture of him, for you my precious friends. And yes, he is a very smart & entertaining person, probably because he is the only one drinking water while the rest of us is destroying their brain cells with vast amounts of booze. Have you also noticed that the smart people have just alltogether stopped drinking, as if they were in some sort of secret society? Well maybe it’s time too also hop on that train. Cheers!

“Dicke uses photos of movie stars and fashion models that appear in posters and magazines as her source material. In a slow and laborious process, she snips away at the bodies and faces of her subjects (…) The silhouette of the ideal beauty remains as a fragile, disturbing or even a bit frightening figure. From eyes, mouths and noses flow threads of desire, craving and passion - all of which she does by applying layers of ink lines and drawings.”
