just found this serie of pictures of an abandoned japanese amusement park. i’m a bit of a “creeper” sometimes….
sorry but as i can’t read japanese, i don’t know who to credit. but anyway, the link is here.

WOW - these images are absolutely stunning. That location would be perfect for a fashion shoot!
magic pictures!
where these objects are?
there’s one in Berlin too, in the trepower park. Abandoned after 1989
that’s the most sad thing I’ve ever seen.Look at thoses horses become SO ironic and the vegetation which look like hungry of the attraction!!!
that’s just the loss of the childhood and the awareness of badness.
whats next? drive ins?
ah, nostalgia.
thank god for disneyland!
Wow~ Such beauty and creepiness.
btw, It says “Abandoned amusement park designation Tohoku region” in Japanese in the link
My bf said he wanted to have sex with me on the roller coaster..?
Amazing photos! I have always loved things like this! P.S. it would be the PERFECT location for a fashion shoot!
Awareness of badness? Are you serious? Nice analysis.
This would be perfect for a fashion photo shoot!
they should sell the horses, i’d love to buy one! how sad to see something that is suppose to be fun and beautiful slowly decaying away…

…..?
Wow, those are amazing pics! I can kind of see it as a horror movie setting!
the photoshoot idea would be cool, but regardless of whether or not you had or didnt have a camera it would still be a cool place to just go. Standing in front and opening your mouth slightly with your arms on your hips isint going to make this place any better then it all ready is.
Sarah without an H, are YOU serious? nice tolerance of someone for whom english is a second language.
Some of the pictures look like scenes from Holly Black’s fae books: Tithe, Valiant & Ironside (as I imagined them).
This is amazing. It looks like a scene from the book “The Five People You Meet In Heaven”. Absolutely stunning.
this looks suspiciously like the rollercoaster from final destination 3 (the only one ive seen, so could also be the other 2 final destination films)
Love these pictures!
Wow! This is very unique. But how does an amusement park get abanndoned? It makes no sense? And before anyone calls me an idiot im only fourteen Idk anything yet i just know what i should know and maybe a llittle more. This has such beauty in it and also sadness of such a site. It would give me the creeps to go to such a place..
I absolutely love this place. The whole idea of a photo shoot there, AMAZING! As I was looking at these pictures I was thinking “man i wish i could find something like this around here.” Absolutely beautiful!
I love this kind of photography but it’s difficult to get this kind of scene where i am. these pictures are beautiful and very cool it kinda takes you back in time…great job
One. This is absolutely stunning… I would love to visit this when I take my trip to Japan (hopefully >.< ) and Two. OMG!! Someone else who has read Tithe! I read it back in like 6th grade and nobody has ever heard of them. These photos and your comment, Anna, just made my day :]
Oh, I genuinely like it.
It just gives me some inspiration.
it looks like a zombie movie…creepy

some the pics look quite spooky, the rollercoaster looks like its going to crash down, what a waste!!!!!!there must be a use for it all.nice pics tho
these pics are cool…but whoever said this place would be great for a “fashion shoot”, is a homo. Str8 up…. I hate to bash people on the internet but he was just asking for it right there…but besides that cool pics!
I would have to steal one of those horses for my garden
These pictures are absolutely amazing. Especially the one of the horses. They’re edited really well.
Absolutely gorgeous…so haunting and eerie, but lovely at the same time.

[...] Creepy abandoned amusement park does not evoke the connotations of the word “amusement.” * 2008 was a pretty good year [...]
Interesting article you got here. I’d like to read something more about this matter.
Does anyone else find these pictures creepy? It screams ‘haunted’ to me.
